SALINAS, CA — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck an area northeast of Soledad Thursday morning, shaking homes across parts of San Benito County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 7:49 a.m. about 9 miles northwest of Pinnacles at a depth of about 7.4 miles, the USGS said.
Residents in Santa Cruz reported feeling light shaking.
No immediate injuries or damage were reported.
