
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the South Bay last night at 9:03 p.m. The quake was located about six miles northeast of Gilroy, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Earlier this week, a 4.0-magnitude quake on the Hayward fault rattled nerves in the East Bay. The morning temblor got some interesting reactions caught on camera.

No damage or injuries have been reported as a result of the temblor.
