Watsonville women are joining with women around the world in celebration of IWD...and you are invited to join us.
It's a party that includes lunch, speakers, raffles and a home and garden fair. The theme this year is "World Food, Local Hunger," as we explore the ways women disportionately suffer from food shortages.
Come, meet Marie Kagaju Laugharn, a former UN development worker from Rwanda AND Margarita Cortez, CEO of Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes. Inc., a local food service and pantry for the poor. Their stories are personal and powerful.
