Man, 70, Arrested, Accused Of Aiming Gun At Neighbors
The incident occurred this morning at a mobile home park in Scotts Valley.

A Scotts Valley man was arrested this morning after police said pointed a handgun at his neighbors.
Stanley Wristen Dowling, 70, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm. Police responded at 12:40 a.m. to 444 Whispering Pines Dr. in reference to a man pointing a handgun at his neighbors.
Police said Dowling told officers he displayed a handgun during an argument with his neighbors inside the mobile home park.

Police said witnesses told officers Dowling pointed the gun at them, said he was going to shoot them and manipulated the gun in a manner that led them to believe he was either pulling the trigger or loading a round into the gun’s chamber.
Police located the loaded gun and took Dowling into custody.
