Man Attacked With Hammer In Watsonville
The victim is expected to survive, but is in intensive care. Police said the case could be gang-related.

A 29-year-old man is recovering from multiple head injuries suffered Monday afternoon when he was attacked with a hammer in Watsonville, according to police.
The incident was reported at 2:32 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Maple Avenue. The victim has been uncooperative and did not provide a suspect description, according to police.
No witnesses were located.

Detective Sgt. Eric Montalbo said the victim is expected to survive, but still is in intensive care.
