WATSONVILLE, CA — A man on probation was recently arrested in Watsonville after deputies on patrol allegedly found a gun stolen hidden in the engine compartment of his car. David Rueda was working on his car, which was blocking part of the road, with Bernardino Sanchez when he was contacted by deputies, officials said. Deputies searched Rueda's vehicle and made the discovery. Rueda was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen gun.
