Man Removes Light Bulbs Outside Business, Ends Up In Jail: SCCSO

Authorities said the man was on probation for vandalism.

WATSONVILLE, CA β€” A man was arrested in Watsonville Thursday night after he allegedly removed two light bulbs outside a closed Watsonville business, Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office officials said. Authorities said a deputy on patrol spotted the 22-year-old man, later identified as Roberto Arredondo, on Green Valley Drive.

Sheriff’s Office officials said Arredondo, who was on probation for vandalism, lied to the deputy about his name. When deputies searched Arredondo he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including a probation violation. He is being held without bail at the Santa Cruz County Jail.
