Man Reportedly Stabbled In Watsonville Walgreens Parking Lot
The incident happened early Thursday.

WATSONVILLE, CA -- A Watsonville man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed early Thursday morning in a Walgreens parking lot, police said. The stabbing was reported at 12:51 a.m. Thursday at the store parking lot located at 1810 Freedom Blvd. Officers arrived to find the victim, a 28-year-old Watsonville man identified as a transient, with a stab wound to his torso.
The victim was able to tell police that two suspects confronted him on foot and took his backpack before stabbing him. He identified them as a Hispanic man in his 20s and another a Hispanic man in his 30s driving a mid-2000s GMC or Chevrolet Suburban SUV who both fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was treated at the scene and later airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.
