Gun Buyback This Weekend In Santa Cruz County
Sheriff's officials said those interested in participating will not need identification and no questions will be asked.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Santa Cruz County Chiefs Association will be hosting a gun buyback event later this month, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. The event will be held in Watsonville and Santa Cruz County on March 24.
"If you have guns that you do not need or want, come get cash while it lasts," officials said via social media.
Officials said those interested in participating can visit either location to exchange the guns for cash. The event will be held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Watsonville Fire Station located at 115 2nd Street and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office located at 5200 Soquel Avenue.
