Nominations Open For Annual Cesar E. Chavez Community Awards

WATSONVILLE, CA - From the City of Watsonville: The City of Watsonville Parks and Community Services Department is currently accepting nominations for the 16th Annual Cesar E. Chavez Community Awards scheduled for Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Plaza Community Room, 275 Main Street, Fourth Floor.

The annual award recognizes seven community members for their dedicated community work and activism that exemplifies and promotes the values of community involvement, volunteerism and non-violent conflict resolution, all values espoused by Cesar E. Chavez. Nominees should exemplify any of these three values. To nominate an individual for recognition, submit a nomination form and a photo of the nominee by Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
