Porch Pirate Caught On Video Busted - Same Car, Same Dog: Cops
Home-surveillance recordings made the suspect easy to identify as her outfit, her pup and her car were the same, Santa Cruz police said.

SANTA CRUZ, CA – A 30-year-old Santa Cruz woman was arrested last week after being caught on home surveillance video allegedly swiping a package from a home on Washburn Street in Santa Cruz, according to authorities.
Identifying the suspect apparently was not too difficult, as the woman was wearing the same clothes, driving the same green Toyota Camry and in the company of the same little dog as reportedly recorded on the home video, the Santa Cruz Police Department said.
Tiffany McCracken-Liddell was arrested Thursday for suspicion of possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen car, police said, adding that tips from the public, after the surveillance video was released on social media, led to the suspect being spotted driving on Ocean Street.

"SCPD Officers picked up the trail from there. The suspect thief wearing the same clothes, driving the car, and with the same pup seen in the video was detained with two other people," the department said. "Stolen packages were recovered from within the vehicle which happens to have been stolen too."
The original surveillance video released Dec. 19 is below:
