Santa Cruz County Supervisor, District 2: Election Results

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Santa Cruz County voters decided in this primary whether the Santa Cruz County Supervisor, District 2 seat should go to the incumbent or his challenger. The results are coming in and incumbent Zach Friend held a significant lead over challenger Becky Steinbruner, with 68 percent of the vote.

The district encompasses the northwest corner of Watsonville (near the Watsonville Municipal Airport), part of Capitola and unincorporated communities of Aptos, La Selva Beach, Seacliff, Rio Del Mar, Corralitos, Freedom and the Pajaro River Basin.
