Stolen RV, Truck Found At Santa Cruz County Park

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Two people were arrested this week after deputies found a stolen motorhome and a stolen truck at a Santa Cruz County park. A deputy on patrol stumbled across the stolen motorhome and a red truck, which was also stolen, in Scott County Park.

The occupant of the motorhome, later identified as Rene Bocanegra, was arrested and Daniel Godinez, who was discovered inside the stolen truck, was also arrested, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities said the two were acquainted with each other.

Bocanegra is also accused of violating a restraining order and Godinez was allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia.
