WATSONVILLE, CA — A late night stabbing caught on video surveillance has resulted in the arrest of a suspected gang member, Watsonville police are reporting. Adan Valerio, 28, was booked into county jail after detectives served a search warrant at his home earlier this week. Police said he is the man involved in a June 1 stabbing attack in a Watsonville parking lot in the 100 block of Main Street. The video footage and witness statements helped detectives identify Valerio, police said.During the search warrant service Wednesday at Valerio's home, officers discovered five firearms, ammunition and items linked to his gang affiliation, according to police. Valerio was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of firearms and ammunition with gang enhancements. The victim has since recovered from his injuries, police said.
