Suspects At-Large After Man Shot In Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, CA -- A man was shot in the head Thursday night in Watsonville and the suspects are at large, police said. Officers responded at 9:51 p.m. after someone called and said an injured man was at 7-Eleven at 455 Airport Blvd.

When officers arrived they found the man who told them he was shot at Ross Avenue and Ginos Court.

The victim was taken to a trauma center and was reported to be in stable condition.

Police said it appears that the victim was driving east on Ross Avenue when three people confronted him.

The suspects began to shoot as the victim tried to flee. The victim was hit in the head.

He drove to 7-Eleven to get help.
