Teen Fired Gun Into Air 10 Times, Watsonville Police Say
Police say surveillance camera footage shows the juvenile firing the gun.
WATSONVILLE, CA β A teenager suspected of firing a gun into the air 10 times in Watsonville on fourth of July has been arrested, police officials said. Police said officers on patrol heard the shooting in the area of Rodriguez Street and Rodriguez Way but were unable to track down a suspect.
The next day, a witness gave investigators a tip which lead them to video surveillance footage of the teen, who was accompanied by a friend, firing the gun. The teenager and his friend were identified and officers arrested the youth after serving search warrants at two Watsonville homes on July 13.
