Transient Suspected Of Vandalizing Watsonville Domino’s Pizza With Skateboard Arrested

WATSONVILLE, CA — A man suspected of smashing the front window of the Watsonville Domino’s Pizza store with a skateboard was arrested for felony vandalism Sunday night, police officials said. A Watsonville police officer on patrol allegedly saw a man, later identified as Trent Maielua, running from the pizza restaurant soon after dispatch received the call about the vandalism.

Police said Maielua, 27, was detained and later arrested after a witness identified him. Maielua was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. The estimated cost to repair the window is $500.
