Tremblers Softball Swings for the Fences

The 12U softball team is winning games and making Watsonville proud.

The Pajaro Valley Tremblers 12U girls' softball program is knocking it out of the park.

The team, basically the All-Stars from the Pajaro Valley Girls Softball League, went undefeated and took first place in the ASA Fathers Day pre-qualifier in Salinas. The tournament drew 14 teams from as far away as King City and Clovis, but the Watsonville girls were the best of the bunch. They also played in the NorCals, a qualifying tourney for the state games, this month.

The players are all ages 12 and younger. Last year, the Tremblers 10U team took third in Northern California and qualified for the Cal State Games in San Diego.
