'Urgent' Need For Water Donations, Santa Cruz County Says
Water is urgently needed through Friday for CZU Lightning Complex fire victims.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA β Santa Cruz County officials are calling for water donations to support survivors of the CZU August Lightning Complex fires that have ravaged the Santa Cruz Mountains.
There is an urgent need for donations through Friday, the county said Sunday.
If possible, the county asks the public to bring donations to the San Lorenzo Valley Water District in Boulder Creek at 13060 Highway 9.

Otherwise, donations can be brought 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, to the Santa Cruz County Emergency Operations Center buildings in Santa Cruz at 1082 Emeline Ave. and Watsonville at 114 Walker St.
