View Finder: Sunday Market at the Fairgrounds

Sundays fill the county fairgrounds with vendors and shoppers excited about the farmers market and flea market.

On a cloudy Sunday afternoon, I went to the flea market at the in beautiful Watsonville. It wasn't too crowded, and there was a variety of vendors selling all sorts of wonderful items.

It's a great place to pick up that thing that you never knew you wanted. Not only was there all sorts of different merchandise, but local food vendors made for a delicious afternoon lunch. There were tables and benches to sit at and enjoy your food, pony rides to keep the children entertained, live music and more.

The market is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The fairgrounds are on East Lake Avenue north of town.
