Watsonville Police Arrest 3 After Alleged Gang Stabbing
Police say the suspects were dressed in red. A gun and part of a pool cue were recovered.

WATSONVILLE, CA - Three alleged gang members are in custody after a fight late Saturday night at a Watsonville hotel sent one person to the hospital with stab wounds, according to police.
Watsonville police said officers responded at around 11:30 p.m. to a Motel 6 located at 125 Silver Leaf Drive for a report of an alleged gang fight. Police said when officers arrived there were several people dressed in red.

According to police the three suspects, Michael Diaz-Garza, 20, Angel Tellez Bedolla, 19, and Jonathan Ivan Gonzalez, 18, discarded several items in nearby bushes and under parked cars after officers arrived.
Police said officers recovered a loaded .22 caliber revolver and part of a pool cue. A short time later, officers were dispatched to Watsonville Community Hospital for a reported stabbing victim. The victim however was uncooperative with officers, police said.

Diaz-Garza, Bedolla and Gonzalez were all arrested on suspicion of participating in a criminal street gang, possession of an illegal knife, drunk in public, carrying a concealed weapon while active in a criminal street gang, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm while not the registered owner and possession of a deadly weapon with the intent to commit an assault.
