Watsonville Traffic Stop Leads To 4 Arrests, Numerous Charges
An early morning traffic stop led to the arrest of two juveniles and two 18-year-olds Friday in Watsonville.

WATSONVILLE - An early morning traffic stop led to the arrest of two juveniles and two 18-year-olds Friday in Watsonville.
The two male juveniles in the vehicle were identified as 15 and 16 years old, and the 18-year-olds were identified as Ricardo Arzola and Angel Arguelles. All four are from Watsonville, according to police.

At 1:26 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for a minor equipment violation in the area of Alta Vista Avenue and Freedom Boulevard.
Police said the driver, identified as Arzola, did not have identification and was not cooperative in providing identifying information.

Police said three of the four people in the vehicle were on probation. One of the juveniles in the vehicle was found in possession of a loaded semi-automatic pistol, according to police.
The occupants in the vehicle were arrested on suspicion of various crimes including failing to have required equipment on a vehicle; delaying/providing false information to officers; possession of a loaded concealed firearm; possession of a loaded concealed firearm while an active gang member; being a minor in possession of a loaded concealed firearm; probation violation; and public intoxication, police said.
