Woman Used Credit Card Stolen During Burglary: SCCSO
Deputies said the woman also had stolen checks and identification cards in the hotel room she rented using the stolen credit card.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA β A Fresno woman was arrested on suspicion of using a credit card stolen during a Live Oak car burglary, sheriffβs office officials said. The suspect allegedly used the card, which was taken early Sunday morning, at a Watsonville gas station and hotel.
Deputies visited the hotel room, which was registered to Fresno resident Erika Murphy, and allegedly found items taken during the car burglary. Stolen checks and identification cards from Kingsburg and Lodi were also recovered during the search, officials said.
Murphy, who was on probation, was arrested on suspicion of identity theft and possessing stolen property.
