• West Sacramento Murderer Denied Parole (westsacramentosun.com) — A man convicted of a 1978 killing during a robbery at the 600 Club in West Sacramento has again been denied parole, with commissioners citing ongoing rule violations and public safety concerns. Yolo County prosecutors opposed his release, and he will not be eligible for another parole hearing for three years.
