• Wanted murder suspect believed to be in West Sacramento area, Merced County sheriff says (abc10.com) — Law enforcement believes a homicide suspect from Sacramento may currently be in the West Sacramento area, and they’re warning residents not to approach him if seen. The 21-year-old is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Los Banos, and authorities urge anyone who spots him to immediately call 911 or contact the Merced County Sheriff’s Office with tips.
