The city is also marking Route 66's 100th anniversary with new signage, public art, and special events, giving residents fresh reasons to rediscover their own Main Street.
   

• West Hollywood Adjourns in Memory of the Five Victims of Chatsworth Bus and Helicopter Crashes (wehotimes.com) — West Hollywood's City Council opened its latest meeting by adjourning in memory of five people killed in a Chatsworth bus and news helicopter tragedy, including well-known TV reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw. Councilmember Lauren Meister highlighted the loss felt across Southern California's news community and expressed condolences to grieving families, colleagues, and viewers who knew the victims' work.
