Man Arrested in Deadly West Hollywood Fire
Police arrested a man for allegedly starting a commercial fire that killed a homeless man.

A man was in custody today for allegedly starting a fire at a vacant commercial building in West Hollywood that killed another man.
Andrew Clark, 35, was arrested on Thursday night and booked on suspicion of murder and arson in the death of Eric Young, 53, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Clark was held on $1.25 million bail.

Firefighters sent to the 9000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard late on the night of May 20 found the victim in the burning building, the sheriff’s department said.
Young died at a hospital.

The blaze was knocked down in about an hour, and homicide detectives were sent to the scene to conduct an investigation.
