Prison Bus Crashes on the 170 Freeway
A bus transporting juvenile inmates crashed on the 170, injuring six and tying up traffic at the start of the morning rush hour.

A traffic accident today involving a bus transporting juvenile inmates resulted in the transport of six prisoners and a deputy for hospital examination of possible minor injuries, authorities said.
The accident was reported shortly after 6 a.m. on the southbound Hollywood (170) Freeway at Riverside Drive.
The juveniles and the deputy complained of pain, and were taken to a hospital for examination as a precaution, the sheriff’s department reported.
