Residents Fear Someone Is Poisoning Dogs In West Hollywood
Residents are terrified that someone is poisoning dogs in the neighborhood after several pets became violently ill.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – Fliers popped up in a West Hollywood neighborhood Tuesday, warning pet owners to keep a watchful eye on their furry friends and claiming that at least seven dogs have been poisoned in the last two weeks. According to the fliers posted in the 1200 block of North Hayworth Avenue, the symptoms of poisoning included vomiting, fever, stroke, and seizures, the news station reported.
The specifics of the poisonings remain unclear.
“He was on the floor in a ball and shivering. His paws were freezing,” the owner of a dog named Duke told CBS Los Angeles.

Multiple pet owners remain perplexed as to what made their dogs sick – they believe the dogs may have picked up something during a walk, resulting in them becoming violently ill. Some dog owners said they saw a man tossing bread onto various lawns, and others said they saw discarded chicken on sidewalks, but no connections have been confirmed.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was notified and animal control sent out two investigators Tuesday, CBS LA reported.

“Within maybe 48 hours, she had a seizure,” Coco’s owner told the news station.
Danny Ubario, the deputy director of animal control, told NBC Los Angeles if you see something, say something.
"As much information as we can gather or any small detail that we can obtain from the public could be beneficial to this case," he told the news station.
