33rd Annual LA Holiday Caroling Festivities Sunday, Dec. 07, 2014
Singers and musicians of all talent levels and ages are invited to participate in a fun and rewarding community service activity.

It is a very fulfilling opportunity to give and receive joy, happiness and holiday spirit to and from the elderly residents, care-takers and participants while enhancing one’s own perspective or appreciation of life, health and family. Bottom line: Everyone greatly benefits from this heart-warming event. All effort given to participate, support and promote this activity is greatly appreciated! Together we have the power to make a difference and the world a better place! Santa Claus will be joining us! Music books and refreshments provided at all 5 performances.

Hundreds of carolers will bring magic to this holiday season, including celebrities like: Cali Rossen (Actress; “The Locker’s Heart”, “A Change In Times”), Florence LaRue (six-time Grammy winner and original member of The 5th Dimension), Kevin Jones (keyboard player of Ozzy Osbourne), Lydia Cornell (Award-winning actress; Sara Rush the ditzy blond on TV Series “Too Close Comfort,”) Prescott Niles (legendary bassist of The Knack performed #1 hit “My Sharona,”) Marv Rosenberg, PhD (founding member of The Safaris, wrote/performed # 6 hit from 1960 “ Image of a Girl,”) Trey Carlisle (Actor; Earl Jr. on TV series “My Name is Earl,”) and other notable performers.
Holiday Caroling Festivities” was founded, and is organized, by Knights of Columbus member Vincent J. Leinen, motivated in part, by his father’s 20-year plight with Parkinson’s disease. Inspiring communities to bring joy and enlightenment to seniors and care-givers has since evolved and is now a nationwide initiative from California to Florida involving over 1,000 volunteers.
This FREE and rewarding local event is open to individuals and/or community groups of all talent levels, ages and faiths. If unable to attend, you’re encouraged to take your own group or individually visit your local senior centers or shut-ins. This simple act of kindness can make a difference and add true meaning for all involved this holiday season.
This event is in memory of the late Nancy Sweeney a prominent contributor to the quality of life in the San Fernando Valley and the Holiday Caroling Festivities
