It is often described as a "carefrontation"—a term used to emphasize that the goal is support and healing rather than punishment or judgment.

I have over 25 years of experience helping friends and families develop an effective strategy to support their significant other into treatment. I have over six thousand resources in the United States and we can find the best level of care for the person who is struggling. I do a careful multi-level 90 day treatment plan for continuing care, and a plan for the family to stop the maladaptive co-dependency behaviors that enable addicts to continue their lifestyle. Do not wait for them to change. People die everyday of this disease - when there is treatment available. Their is hope and wellbeing on the other side of a professional Intervention.
