WOODLAND HILLS, CA – It's been a busy week around Los Angeles County. Police – and news crews – chased burglary suspects near the Galleria. Eventually, police backed off the Valley chase, but a news helicopter found the suspects' car.
The City of Los Angeles filed a lawsuit against San Fernando Valley motel owners, asking for the owners to live in the hotel known for prostitution, drug dealing, and violent crime. If Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer gets his way, that's exactly what will happen.
Evacuations were ordered near the Stone Fire, which ballooned to more than 1,300 acres this week. As of Wednesday, it was 63 percent contained.

Street racing may have been to blame for a massive eight-car crash in Reseda Thursday. Three people were injured, including one in critical condition, and authorities arrested two people in connection with the crash, according to reports.
Police are also searching for a driver who fled after losing control of a vehicle, shearing a fire hydrant and knocking down a power pole in Valley Village Friday.
