Fire Damages Middle Floor of Three-Story Apartment, One Injured
The flames were extinguished in less than 30 minutes this morning.

A man suffered critical injuries today during a fire that damaged one unit on the second floor of a three-story apartment building in Woodland Hills.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:56 a.m. to the 21500 block of Burbank Boulevard had the fire out at 8:19 a.m., Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

“An unconscious adult male was rescued from inside the fire unit and transported to a local hospital,” Scott said. “He suffered burns to (his) extremities and was not breathing. However, after aggressive medical treatment from paramedics he began breathing on his own. He remains in critical condition.”
The three-story apartment building sustained about $10,000 worth of damage, Scott said.
