Naked Man Allegedly Steals Car, Leads Police on Chase
A man allegedly led police on a chase in Woodland Hills after trying to steal a car from a woman, but he stripped naked prior to his arrest.

A man was arrested today after allegedly trying to steal a woman’s automobile and then stripping naked at the end of a brief vehicle chase in Woodland Hills.
The woman ended up with a leg or foot under the rear wheel of her own vehicle, according to a news videographer.
Police responded to a grand theft auto call in the 5000 block of Serrania Avenue, south of Ventura Boulevard, about 6:20 p.m., said Officer Nuria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.

Officers pursued the suspect to the intersection of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Dumetz Road, where he was taken into custody, but not before he stripped naked, according to Vanegas and the videographer.
The injured woman was taken to a hospital, the videographer said.

A watch sergeant at the LAPD’s Topanga Station said investigators were sorting out details of the incident.
