Where to Get Rid of Your Extra Meds in the Valley
This free one-day event is open to the public.

Kaiser Permanente Southern California, in collaboration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and local law enforcement agencies, will accept unused or expired medication for safe disposal as part of the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
It happens 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27 at Kaiser Permanente medical centers throughout Southern California. Locally, residents may bring their medications for disposal at the following locations:

- Kaiser Permanente Panorama City, 13652 Cantara St., Panorama City. The collection site is located outside Medical Offices 3.
- Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills, 5601 De Soto Ave., Woodland Hills. The collection site is located in the disabled parking lot, next to the patient drop-off circle.
This free one-day event is open to the public.
Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to accidental poisoning, overdose, and abuse.
