Antil, who has held senior roles in several California cities, would start July 1 on a one‑year, $335,000 agreement while the town searches for a permanent manager.

• Sheriff's Office arrests two in connection to Woodside home burglary (almanacnews.com) — Two Redwood City residents have been arrested in connection with a June 13 burglary at a Woodside home on Greenways Drive, where an alarm scared off the intruders before anything was stolen. Deputies used home security video and automated license plate readers to track the suspects, and the Sheriff’s Office is stressing the value of strong home security.
