• Extra practice pays dividends for Yorba Linda football (ocregister.com) — Yorba Linda High’s football team is off to a 4-0 start under first-year head coach John Domen, thanks in part to extra practice and a focus on fundamentals. With a marquee game at Huntington Beach coming Friday and a move up to the tougher Alpha League ahead, several young Mustangs, including standout sophomores and a revamped secondary, are emerging as key contributors.
