Looking for a sound bath near Joshua Tree? The Gong Room is an intimate studio located off Highway 62 in Yucca Valley, minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. Public events, private sessions, and mobile sound baths are available. Advanced booking required. What makes it different: most sound baths lean heavily on crystal bowls. We're gong-focused. At our signature Gong Fusion™ event, you'll hear live music from 12 gongs, crystal singing bowls, and more, layered with a custom ambient drone. Two walls of instruments surround you in a room built specifically for this. It's a fuller experience than most people expect the first time. That comes from 22 years of playing therapeutic-style sound baths. No beliefs required. Just lie back and let the sound do the work. Public events are limited to 10 people, and we offer 3-4 each week. Private sound baths are available for one to ten people almost every day. It's the perfect addition to a desert retreat or vacation.

Pine Island is a non-profit summer camp, in continuous operation since 1902 that fosters boys’ independence, imagination, and character. While many camps operate as profit-driven small businesses, Pine Island stands apart as a 501(c)(3) organization. For over a century, it has provided boys aged nine to fifteen the most meaningful experiences of their lives. On a small island in Maine’s Belgrade Lakes, campers live unplugged—without electricity or running water. They gain the freedom to make meaningful choices, the support of a community grounded in shared values, and enough time away from home to feel both independent and integral to a unique community they help build. Whether your son is shy or outgoing, big or small, Pine Island will challenge him to bring out his best in the simple joys and varied circumstances of outdoor living. All of this happens under the close guidance of our caring staff, nearly all of whom are former campers themselves. Spots are limited—Pine Island limits enrollment to fewer than 100 campers each summer.
