4th Of July Weather Forecast For Metro Denver, Boulder

If you're planning to spend the Fourth of July outdoors, you'll want to pack a raincoat — there's a 70 percent chance of rainfall Saturday in Denver's metro area and Boulder, according to the National Weather Service.
In both regions, there's a chance of thunderstorms between noon and 2 p.m., then showers are "likely" after 2 p.m., weather officials said. Thunderstorms are also possible in the late afternoon.
But despite some pockets of rain here and there, you can expect a mostly sunny sky, with a high near 90 in metro Denver and 87 in Boulder, the agency said.

You can also expect calm wind around 5 to 9 mph in the Denver area and 5 to 7 mph in Boulder.
Then Saturday night, the forecast calls for a "slight chance of showers and thunderstorms" before 9 p.m., then a slight chance of showers between 9pm and midnight, weather officials said. Expect a partly cloudy sky, with a low of around 60 in Boulder and 61 in Denver.
