Artisan Markets was founded by Lexi, a handmade jewelry artist known as The Steampunk Butterfly. She has been vending around Colorado for the last 11 years, and started hosting events herself in 2024. She was tired of being overshadowed by resellers and large corporations at other art festivals, so she decided to start her own shows that focus on the artists.
