Amazon Planning Boulder Distribution Center Expanding Colorado Presence
The plans include office space, a break room, and a distribution center.

Amazon is expanding to Boulder with plans to open a distribution center at 3550 Frontier Avenue, according to permit applications filed with the city last week. The retail giant would turn am existing warehouse into a combination of office space, a distribution center, a break room and bathrooms.
The Daily Camera, which first reported the news, says that Amazon, which is planning 19,152 feet of office space could be looking at the space recently vacated by Newton Running.
The move is part of an expanded presence by Amazon in Colorado.

They are building a 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Aurora that will employ 1,000 people.

The paper, which obtained an email from a Washington-based headhunter looking to recruit for Amazon, said that the center looks to be open this year.
