Berthoud Man Arrested For Alleged Child Sexual Abuse
Two people accused Benjamin Macaluso, 47, of allegedly sexually molesting children in 2009 at a photography studio.

BERTHOUD, CO -- Larimer County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Berthoud man on allegations that he had sexually abused two juveniles in 2009. Benjamin Robert Macaluso, 47, was arrested April 24 on charges of sexual assault on a child and two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, all Class 4 felonies. He posted bond of $1,750 the next day and was released.
Two alleged victims told investigators the abuse took place at Macaluso's now shuttered photography business, BellaClaire Studios, at 434 Mountain Avenue #D in Berthoud, a statement from the sheriff's office said. The business closed at that location in 2013, but Macaluso may have also operated the business from private residences in Berthoud.
Sheriff's investigators reported that Macaluso was allegedly accused of sexual abuse in Berthoud over the course of several years.
