Boulder Drunk Driving Crashes: Good Samaritans Helping One Driver Hit By Another
They stopped to help a suspected drunk driver. They ended up in the hospital after being ht by another suspected drunk driver.

Two people who stopped to help a suspected drunk driver after a crash Sunday got more than they bargained - a trip to the hospital with serious injuries. As the two tried to help, they were struck by a second suspected drunk driver.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday just north of Boulder along North Foothills Highway by Violet Avenue.
Anthony Short and Sona Shrestha had stopped to try and help a 51-year-old man who had crashed.

As they did that, a second suspected drunk driver crashed into the back of the first car and also struck the Samaritans.
They were brought to Boulder Community Hospital. Short suffered life-threatening injuries and Shrestha was seriously injured.

The Daily Camera, which first reported the incident, said the second driver is charged with suspicion of DUII, careless driving, and vehicular assault. They also say this is his third DUII arrest in Boulder County.
