Boulder Man Found Dead At Loveland Ski Area

Kevin Edwards was said to be an experience skier and was a member of the Boulder Triathlon Club.

A man who was said to be an experienced skier and a member of the Boulder Triathlon Club died while skiing at the Loveland Ski Area. Kevin Edwards, 59, was from Boulder.

"Kevin was a long-time member of the Boulder Tri Club and our Male Masters Athlete of the Year several years ago," the club said on their Facebook page. "Please keep Kevin's family in your thoughts and prayers."

Edwards reported missing around 12:30 on Friday and found by the ski patrol within a half hour by the West Ropes area.

They performed CPR but to no avail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner's office will determined how he died.
