Colo. Amber Alert: Missing Boy, 12, Found With Man, 60 In Utah

PANGUITCH, UT – The Colorado Bureau of Investigation cancelled an AMBER alert from Sunday on Monday, when an arrest was made in Utah in connection with a missing 12-year-old boy from Saguache County.
Just after 10 a.m., Garfield County, Utah sheriff's deputies took David Glenn Freeman, 60, into custody after a citizen called and reported "suspicious [and] concerning behavior," between Freeman and the missing boy the CBI said. The two were found near the town of Panguitch, Utah.
Freeman is listed on an inmate roster as being held in the Garfield County jail. No bond amount is listed.

The 12-year-old boy was taken to a Utah hospital to be evaluated, police said.
The CBI issued an AMBER alert Sunday evening, saying the boy might be traveling in a red, 2014 Jeep Patriot with CO license plate 198ZQO.

The CBI said glitches with the AMBER alert system delayed notice to some cell phone users, while others received "multiple notifications."
"The CBI team is working to determine the cause of these issues and how to prevent them in the future.," the agency said.
The case is still under investigation by the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation, the CBI said.
