Colorado Coronavirus Cases By County: Wednesday, April 15

Here's a breakdown of cases and deaths in each Colorado county.

According to government data posted Wednesday afternoon, there were 8,280 cases of the new coronavirus in Colorado among 40,533 people who have been tested. There were 1,636 people hospitalized, and 357 deaths were confirmed.

The Colorado Hospital Association has released new coronavirus data about the number of hospitalized patients that have been discharged. Darlene Tad-y, the association's vice president of clinical affairs, thanked the Coloradans who've complied with the state's stay-at-home order.

"Colorado hospitals report early signs of a leveling off of patients being hospitalized with COVID-19," Tad-y said in a statement. "Coloradans are doing an extraordinary job of social distancing, leading to this flattening of our curve."

Number of COVID-19 patients discharged from Colorado hospitals:

  • Sunday: 167 patients
  • Monday: 150 patients
  • Tuesday: 204 patients
