Colorado Coronavirus Update: 3,895 New Cases Reported
Here are the latest coronavirus numbers in Colorado.

Between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon, 3,895 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Colorado, according to public health data.
As of Thursday, 276,995 people had been infected with the coronavirus in the state among 1,914,510 people who have been tested since the outbreak began, health officials confirmed. Around 15,656 people have been hospitalized, and the death toll has reached 3,005.
Around 47 percent of the state's critical care ventilators were in use as of Thursday, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Around 28 percent of Colorado hospitals reported anticipating staff shortages over the next week, and 9 percent of hospitals reported anticipating ICU bed shortages.

Many Colorado counties continue to operate under 'Level Red' on the state's COVID-19 dial. Under the level, indoor dining at restaurants is prohibited, and the last call for ordering alcohol is 8 p.m.
Our state has placed an initial order for 46,800 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations, which are expected to be approved by the Federal Drug Administration between Friday and Monday, officials said. Colorado is expected to receive the order between Dec. 13 and Dec. 16.
