Here's the latest breakdown of cases and deaths in each Colorado county.

Since Wednesday, 641 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Colorado, according to public health data. As of Thursday, 31,796 people had been infected with the coronavirus in the state among 304,759 people who have been tested since the outbreak began, health officials confirmed. Around 5,392 people have been hospitalized, and the death toll among people who tested positive for COVID-19 has reached 1,673.

In a news conference Wednesday, state health officials said Colorado has seen a recent uptick in cases; however hospitalizations are on a downward trend. Officials said they are hopeful that Colorado's case rates will go down over the next week if people continue to wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Denver, Arapahoe and Weld counties consistently have the highest overall number of cases in the state; however over the past week, Logan, Morgan and Saguache counties have had the highest case rates per 100,000 people.
