Colorado Coronavirus Update: 715 New Cases

Since Thursday, 715 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Colorado, according to public health data. As of Monday, 33,511 people had been infected with the coronavirus in the state among 320,997 people who have been tested since the outbreak began, health officials confirmed. Around 5,442 people have been hospitalized, and the death toll among people who tested positive for COVID-19 has reached 1,682.

State health officials said Colorado has seen a recent uptick in cases; however hospitalizations are on a downward trend.

Denver, Arapahoe and Weld counties consistently have the highest overall number of cases in the state; however over the past week, Logan, Morgan and Saguache counties have had the highest case rates per 100,000 people.
