Colorado Governor's Race Gets More Crowded With Jared Polis

The fifth-term representative from Boulder threw his hat into the ring with a Facebook video on Sunday.

Watch out for the flying hats! Yet another just got tossed into the ring as Representative Jared Polis, who has represented Boulder since 2009, has announced he wants to succeed Governor John Hickenlooper.

Polis enters an already crowded field. He will be running against Representative Ed Perlmutter, meaning that Diana DeGette is the only Democratic member of Colorado's delegation in the House of Representatives not running for governor.

Hickenlooper is being forced out by term limits.
