Hickenlooper Going On CNN To Talk Health Care Concerns
The governor will join Ohio Governor John Kasich on Anderson Cooper's show on Monday evening.

Less than one week after joining five other governors - Democrats and Republicans - in expressing their concerns about the American Health Care Act, Governor Hickenlooper and Ohio Governor John Kasich will be on CNN on Monday evening to elaborate on those concerns.
The two with be on Anderson Cooper's show to discuss what they see as the potential loss of coverage to hundreds of thousands of people.
"While we certainly agree that reforms need to be made to our nation’s health care system, as Governors from both sides of the political aisle, we feel that true and lasting reforms are best approached by finding common ground in a bipartisan fashion," said the letter, which was sent to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer.

The letter was also signed by Governors Steve Bullock of Montana, Charles Baker of Massachusetts, Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania, Brian Sandoval of Nevada, and John Bel Edwards of Louisiana. (For more information on this and other local stories, subscribe to your local Patch for breaking news alerts.)
"We remain hopeful that there is an opportunity to craft solutions to these challenges that can find support across party lines, delivering improvements to result in a system that is available and affordable for every American," they wrote.
